About The Position

As a Senior Plant Maintenance Technician at WM, you will play a key role in maintaining the plant's operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance inspections, diagnosing and repairing major equipment, and responding to emergency breakdowns. Requirements

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections (PM) and diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment and components.
• Maintain the Daily Equipment Inspections (DEI) backlog.
• Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and inform the Sr. Plant Maintenance Manager if additional work is needed.
• Inspect the quality of third-party repairs and rebuilds.
• Recommend improvements to enhance production, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Multitask and manage multiple priorities with efficiency.
• Respond to emergency breakdown service calls.
• Perform work with limited supervision while maintaining high standards of performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.
• Perform repairs in line with Waste Management Safety, Life Critical Rules, and OSHA requirements.
