About The Position

Alera Group is looking for a Senior & Individual Market Support Specialist. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you! This role can be located in Stevens Point or Wausau WI.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience (or equivalent); insurance agency and sales experience preferred, including knowledge of under‑ and over‑age‑65 insurance coverage, terminology, and forms
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation; state‑specific insurance license and required certifications needed, with a valid driver’s license
• Demonstrated ability to meet job requirements with professionalism and adaptability; role responsibilities and requirements may evolve based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Manage client and carrier communications by resolving coverage issues, answering questions, and providing professional support to clients and prospects
• Support sales and service activities by preparing and processing renewals, claims, applications, mailings, proposals, appointment setting, telemarketing, and assisting with Medicare and Marketplace plan changes
• Maintain accurate records and follow‑up through AgencyBloc and internal systems while supporting educational seminars, assigned projects, and ongoing compliance and industry knowledge
