About The Position

Menasha Corporation, a leader in the packaging industry, is searching for a Senior Indirect Tax Analyst in our Neenah, WI location. Essential to this Position We are seeking an individual to join our indirect tax team that has a desire to participate in all aspects of indirect tax. This role is responsible for assisting in compliance, refund claims, tax audits, research and various other projects as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3+ years of indirect tax experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
• Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and business professionalism

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP and/or Vertex beneficial

Responsibilities

• Serve as knowledgeable resource for internal sales and use tax inquires and provide guidance based on current state and local regulations
• Receive and manage tax notices from state and local authorities.
• Oversee the issuance of tax exemption and resale certificates to vendors
• Partner with billing and customer service teams on new customer setup and work with customers directly on invoice and sales order issues
• Assist Manager with sales/use tax audits including gathering data and communicating with tax authorities
• Research various technical topics and participate in special projects as necessary
• Assist in various indirect tax projects
