As a Senior IMS Systems Programmer at Ensono, you will provide premium software support and services to our mainframe clients, specifically focusing on Mainframe IMS systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive timely and effective support for their z/OS environments, particularly in relation to IMS and associated OEM software products. You will be responsible for fulfilling customer service requests, providing primary upgrade support for IMS, and ensuring that all installations of OEM software products are conducted efficiently and in accordance with best practices and Ensono standards. Your role will also involve assisting in the onboarding of new clients, managing resources effectively, and adhering to ITSM change control procedures to ensure smooth operations. In this position, you will leverage your extensive experience in IMS administration and systems programming to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IMS systems and databases. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of IMS subsystems, including TM, DB, and DBCTL, and be proficient in using tools such as CA, BMC, and IBM for IMS. Your ability to work collaboratively with clients as an ambassador for IMS-related matters will be essential in fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. You will also be tasked with developing innovative strategies and best practices in IMS systems programming, contributing to the overall success of our team and the satisfaction of our clients.
