As an Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for setting clients up for long-term success on Clutch products by managing the technical implementation for our Customers. As one of our technical post-sale consultants, you will drive the design, configuration, and delivery of Clutch’s platform. This role is a good fit for people with strong communication skills and a technical background who are experts at consultative solutioning and empathizing with both internal and external stakeholders. You'll be responsible for: Lead and architect technical vision for large enterprise customers' implementation, testing, and reporting, including collaboration with product and engineering for the implementation of products with customers Work with and directly support our customers to craft the best possible experiences for users in Clutch, over three to six-month implementations Implement and troubleshoot Clutch solutions in a wide array of configurations and Client environments, navigating complex technical requirements with an ownership mindset Be an expert on Clutch’s platform capabilities and app design patterns, and utilize this understanding to solve novel challenges our clients face Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve and evolve products based on Client requirements and feedback Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple Implementation projects, partnering directly with Engagement Managers (project managers) to ensure smooth and on-time go-lives Effectively communicate plans, progress, and status to both internal and Customer stakeholders Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering teams within Clutch to improve the platform, ensure best-in-class support, and grow our fintech community Improve internal processes, tooling, and documentation to help Clutch scale effectively and increase implementation efficiency. About the Team Our Professional Services team is fast-paced and implements the Clutch platform for our Credit Union customers. We gather requirements, build out the platform to their specifications, work with them to test and ensure it works as intended, and then take them live so they can realize value. We’re a team with a bias for Customer Success - our top metric isn’t getting customers live, it’s ensuring their success through renewal and expansion. Professional Services team members should have high agency, a consultative approach to client implementations, a strong technical foundation, and be proactive communicators to ensure internal teams remain aligned. What You’ll Do Within 3 months, you will: Complete onboarding and begin your first implementation with support from a team of tenured Implementation Engineers Become familiar with our project plans and implementation processes Kickoff your first client project independently Within 6 months, you will: Lead your projects with confidence Begin taking your first clients live Applying learnings and becoming fully independent Begin to help the team improve our documentation, processes, and develop new tools to improve our efficiency Within 9 months, you will: Be fully independent in your role, and working on areas to gather deep knowledge to become an SME Be well into your second wave of clients - applying learnings from your first wave of projects so they run even better Begin confidently assisting other team members and raising the bar for those around you Please note that this role may evolve as our business needs change, so we appreciate your flexibility and adaptability.
