About The Position

Our Archer platform sits at the center of this transformation, connecting Electronic Health Records (EHRs) with clinical research systems to unlock real-world data and accelerate trials. Senior Implementation Engineers play a critical role in making this vision real. You’ll lead complex, high-impact integrations across enterprise healthcare environments, ensuring that data flows accurately, securely, and at scale. Position Summary As a Senior Implementation Engineer, you will lead complex Archer implementations, design and validate integration solutions, and act as a senior escalation point for technical challenges. This role blends deep technical expertise with leadership, guiding implementations, mentoring teammates, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver reliable, scalable interoperability solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience implementing or supporting complex system integrations
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across APIs and distributed systems
  • Experience working in healthcare technology or interoperability environments
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP-based services
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve integration issues across multiple systems
  • Experience with HL7 FHIR and healthcare interoperability standards

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, SMART on FHIR)
  • Experience mapping healthcare data (e.g., LOINC, SNOMED CT, RxNorm)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience working with EHR, EDC, or clinical research systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead Complex Implementations
  • Own technical delivery for enterprise Archer implementations
  • Design, validate, and guide integration solutions across healthcare systems
  • Ensure solutions align with client environments, constraints, and regulatory requirements
  • Solve Challenging Problems
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex implementation and production issues
  • Lead root cause analysis for integration issues
  • Support critical phases such as go-live and hypercare
  • Drive Technical Excellence
  • Define and evolve implementation standards and integration best practices
  • Provide architectural guidance for complex interoperability scenarios
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improved workflows
  • Collaborate Across Teams
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to resolve systemic challenges
  • Translate real-world integration issues into product and platform improvements
  • Mentor and Elevate Others
  • Support and mentor Implementation Engineers
  • Help grow technical capability and leadership across the team
