As a Senior Implant Equipment Engineer, with a strong focus on safety and quality, you will play a meaningful role in improving our manufacturing processes by focusing on the installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of our DIFI equipment. Your expertise will give to the production of high-quality semiconductor components that are pivotal to our customers' success. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to tackle equipment issues and implement solutions that improve efficiency and yield. Your passion for engineering and willingness to learn will help us overcome the challenges of this fast-paced industry. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values collaboration, and is eager to dive deep into the technical aspects of semiconductor manufacturing.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of industry experience working as Equipment Owner with Implant
  • BS or Masters in the Engineering field, equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+yr industry experience
  • Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training purposes

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Data Science and Programming skills

Responsibilities

  • Owns dry etch module development for advanced logic nodes, defining inline metric targets and process specifications to ensure stable yield and device performance in high‑volume manufacturing.
  • Drives yield and defect improvement through SPC‑driven monitoring, structured root cause analysis, and failure analysis to resolve excursions and sustain process health.
  • Leads cross‑functional process change reviews and risk assessments, ensuring safe, compliant integration of new processes and optimizations into the manufacturing line.
  • Collaborates closely with major equipment vendors (LAM, TEL, AMAT) to optimize tools and co‑develop etch recipes that expand process windows and meet program goals.
  • Improves cycle time and yield learning by leveraging alternative inline metrology approaches to accelerate data turnaround and focus engineering efforts.
