About The Position

Imagery Analysts perform advanced level imagery analysis, imagery product production, intelligence systems architecture, and evaluation of procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or methodologies used to develop complex solutions to requirements. Imagery Analysts have operational and tactical level intelligence experience, to include general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems, and geospatial systems. Imagery Analysts have briefing skills and be capable of effectively directing subordinate analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments. Imagery Analysts are proficient in utilizing computer applications and intelligence-related automation to support analytical efforts and product development. Candidates must perform at a highly proficient level on core Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) analysis and Full Motion Video (FMV) exploitation with recent hands-on experience. Candidates must have good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively work individually or as a member of a team and take the lead on select tasks as required. Must attend Government-provided training on the duties, responsibilities, and TTPs (Task, Technique, Procedure) of an Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Tactical Controller (ITC). If selected by the Government, must be able to serve as an ITC. A successful Senior FMV/Imagery Analyst shall perform advanced level FMV/Imagery analysis in support of Special Operations mission, regional, and point analysis with detailed analysis products to support the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, and analyze targeting methodology.

Requirements

  • Level 1: 4 years hands-on IMINT and/or FMV analysis and production experience out of the last six years.
  • Level 2: 6 years of operational and tactical level intelligence experience, including targeting, intelligence systems, and geospatial systems.
  • Military personnel with two years of hands-on FMV analysis experience within JSOC meet the minimum requirement.
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute without looking at the keyboard.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced level imagery analysis and product production.
  • Evaluate procedures, processes, techniques, models, and methodologies for complex solutions.
  • Direct subordinate analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments.
  • Utilize computer applications and intelligence-related automation for analytical efforts.
  • Conduct core Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) analysis and Full Motion Video (FMV) exploitation.
  • Attend Government-provided training on ITC duties and responsibilities.
