About The Position

The Senior Imaging Systems Implementation Analyst will work closely with internal and external customers to plan, evaluate, and implement clinical imaging IT systems. This role ensures that all systems are working together efficiently, including those managed by vendors, partners, or customers. The Senior Imaging Systems Implementation Analyst will gather and document business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements for in-scope systems. They will also support the installation, configuration, and optimization of new and existing systems to ensure seamless operation across the enterprise. The Senior Imaging Systems Implementation Analyst will be responsible for tying business requirements to technology capabilities, developing plans, and action steps to deploy them. They may lead the installation and configuration of new systems and integrations while monitoring the performance and optimization of existing ones. This role will support product owners, analysts, project managers, and technical solution providers across the enterprise to deliver on business needs and related support. Additionally, the Senior Imaging Systems Implementation Analyst will communicate proactively and with urgency to provide product issue status when needed and advocate for customers to enhance their experience with our technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, clinical imaging, or a related field required
  • Proven track record of leading complex system integration projects required
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members required, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements for clinical imaging systems.
  • Plan, evaluate, and implement new systems and integrations.
  • Support the installation and configuration of new systems.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of existing systems.
  • Collaborate with developers and data owners to create data integration and storage solutions.
  • Analyze tradeoffs between usability, best practices, and performance needs.
  • Partner with business and capability owners to identify data and data quality gaps, recommend prioritization, and associated costs.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and vendor expectations.
  • Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed.
  • Establish and maintain data integrations between applications.
  • Provide data flow diagrams for applications and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate any downtimes, upgrades, and change schedules.
  • Leverage ITSM processes to track changes to products via change management processes and systems for service operations visibility.
  • Actively own and participate in the lifecycle management of assigned applications and infrastructure.
  • Decommission systems as needed.
  • Maintain vendor contacts and support matrix necessary for IT operations.
  • Ensure proper monitoring and alerting for availability and performance.
  • Provide triage documentation for alerts.
  • Resolve simple to complex production support issues.
  • Lead and mentor junior Systems Analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Take a proactive role in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to system integration and optimization.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytical tools and methodologies to enhance system analysis and optimization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical imaging systems and related technologies, providing expertise and insights to cross-functional teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical imaging systems across the organization.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and conferences, sharing best practices and insights on system integration and optimization.
