Senior ICQC Warehouse Associate
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for an experienced warehouse worker as a Senior ICQC Warehouse Associate at our distribution facility. This role is responsible for performing assigned warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, and light assembly. The position also involves housekeeping of assigned areas, and may include counter sales, cycle counting, and related quality assurance activities. A key focus is on quality, performing inspections to ensure shipments are accurate and meet customer order requirements. Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Basic computer skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing assigned warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, as well as housekeeping of other assigned areas
- Counter sales
- Cycle counting and related quality assurance activities
- Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure shipments are accurate and meet the requirements of customer orders
- Verify purchased products and enter order receipts into system
- Separate orders and place materials in proper locations
- Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment
- Assist in loading trucks
- Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables
- Performs special customer quality assurance inspections
- Complete log sheets and handle inbound shipments
- Perform quality inspections, log discrepancies and take appropriate steps to correct errors
- Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts
- Relocate and consolidate material
