About The Position

Join the team at Idaho IceWorld, Idaho's premier indoor ice skating and entertainment center! We're seeking a Senior Ice Skating Instructor to lead youth and adult skating lessons in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. This position is perfect for experienced skaters who are passionate about teaching and helping others develop their skills on the ice. As a Senior Instructor, you'll deliver high-quality instruction to individuals and groups of varying skill levels, serve as a mentor to other instructors, and help foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all participants. This position is open to qualified individuals 18 years of age or older.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be a U.S. Figure Skating Registered Coach through a recognized figure skating club or as an individual.
• Must complete CER Class C within six months of date of hire.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience within a U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skill Program or ISI weSKATE program.
• Knowledge of ice skating techniques.
• General customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides ice skating instructions and advice for groups.
• Ensures a safe and effective learning environment for all participants.
• Answers questions from participants and parents as required in accordance with City of Boise Policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
