About The Position

Solutions and executes migration of Mainframe applications into software equivalent systems (rehosting). Uses knowledge of Mainframe technologies like COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, Assembler, DB2, IMS, files, etc to find the right solution to migrate off the Mainframe.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience with Mainframe migrations
• 5+ years with IBM ITX/ITXA (map design, type trees, rules, deploy)
• Hands-on migration experience from Mainframe Gentran (z/OS) to ITXA on Linux.
• EDI/B2B integration experience
• Proficient with Linux administration for application runtime (services, filesystem, permissions, shell scripting)
• Familiarity with Mainframe concepts: JCL, batch scheduling, data sets etc.
• Experience migrating from IBM Gentran to IBM ITXA
