About The Position

This role will be responsible for helping to drive the technical success of Biogen’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems. The individual in this role will have the unique opportunity to deliver/support EPM solutions across financial technologies while serving as an IT business partner in support of business critical financial processes. This individual will provide technical and process expertise to design and build solutions in support of planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial consolidation processes driving business value to a global user-base through process efficiencies, new capabilities, and technical innovation. He/she will work across multiple projects and initiatives encompassing numerous technologies while engaging in different business processes. The role will assist with operational support both through collaboration with technical team members on complex systems issues and direct user support for business process and technology. Partner with business and technical teams to design, develop, and deploy new EPM system solutions. Drive identification and implementation of system and business process improvements resulting in real value (e.g. process efficiency, cost savings, new capability, etc.) to the organization. Engage in EPM technical support for issue resolution with hands-on actions across the technology stack. Provide delivery support through direct interaction with end-users during financial process cycles. Serve as a tactical and strategic IT liaison to the finance organization through building and fostering relationships and influencing decision making processes. Participate in strategic EPM system initiatives such as portfolio management, technology roadmaps, governance & prioritization. Ensure successful solution delivery meeting business needs and expectations – accountable for project execution through all phases of the SDLC. Single point-of-contact for business focused application questions with ability to identify and leverage resources across IT.
