AECOM is seeking a Senior Hydrologic Engineer with a focus on New Jersey transportation clients. Responsibilities include leading technical execution of projects, including hydrologic analyses, hydraulic structure modeling, and dam breach analyses using one- and two-dimensional approaches. The role also involves conducting bridge engineering activities such as visual inspections, risk analyses, and emergency action planning. The engineer will prepare technical reports, construction drawings, and supporting calculations while adhering to AECOM's Quality Management System. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders is essential to ensure project success. The position also includes mentoring junior staff and contributing to their professional development, managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, supporting business development efforts, and staying current with industry trends to contribute to innovative solutions in hydrologic and hydraulic engineering. Additionally, the engineer will develop Hydraulics Reports satisfying NJDOT and NJDEP requirements and may require travel for field work, client meetings, and professional conferences as needed.
