About The Position

OHM Advisors' Environmental & Water Resource Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Hydraulic Modeling Engineer with a strong background in drinking water distribution systems to join our growing team. As a Senior Hydraulic Modeling Engineer, you will directly contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on water distribution systems. This opportunity involves working with a growing team of hydraulic modelers on a variety of projects locally, regionally, and nationwide.

Requirements

10+ years of experience
Strong interest in hydraulic modeling and water industry
Knowledge of hydraulic principles and analyses, as well as experience with or a strong desire to learn hydraulic modeling software
Excellent communication skills
Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program

Nice To Haves

PE preferred
Experience with InfoWater, WaterGEMS, or EPANET

Responsibilities

Mentor and lead the development and calibration of hydraulic models for water distribution systems and analyze model results to develop recommendations for our clients
Lead master planning and capital improvement plan development
Mentor and lead booster station analyses for water systems to assess capacity, reliability, and energy efficiency
Develop future water demand projections
Design and deliver digital tools and dashboards
Prepare clear, concise technical reports and presentations
Fieldwork and site visits from design through construction may be required
Analyze and process large amounts of complex data
