About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our Water Team to improve infrastructure in our Fort Worth office. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and five to fifteen years of related experience. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.

Requirements

Seven to Fifteen years of experience
PE license
Hydraulic Modeling experience
Working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM and/or SWMM software
Excellent technical writing, organizational and communication skills
Individual must be self-motivated and able to work well with others

Responsibilities

Provide hydrologic and hydraulic technical support to the planning, design and construction on various wet weather projects that may include combined/sanitary sewer overflow, collection system, pump station, water, stormwater, green infrastructure, hydrologic and hydraulic models and/or other projects
Lead evaluations of collection systems and open channels with the use of hydrologic and hydraulic models
Manage tasks and projects when appropriate
Mentor/train staff in the use of hydrologic and hydraulic technical approaches and models
Perform and manage hydrologic/hydraulic model calibrations based on monitoring data
Develop flow monitoring programs and manage data analysis
Perform GIS analysis to support hydrologic and hydraulic model development
Prepare engineering calculations and supporting analysis of alternatives
Prepare and evaluate wet weather control alternatives
Develop and oversee the writing of technical reports and memorandums
Assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks
Monitor task budget and progress
Conduct on-site inspections as needed
Prepare project status and other reports
Assist in the preparation of proposals
Assist Project Managers
Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.
