Requirements

5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
Graduate of a 2+ year HVACR training program or equivalent experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and follow manufacturer specifications and installation manuals
Professional communication skills with customers and team members
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Willingness to continue learning and grow in the trade
Physical ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments typical of Virginia weather

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, indoor air quality systems)
Handle complex service calls independently
Participate in on-call rotations
Educate customers on system performance, maintenance, and energy efficiency
Recommend IAQ solutions, system upgrades, and replacement opportunities
Collaborate with dispatch, management, and fellow technicians to keep operations running smoothly
