About The Position

Sr HVAC Technician The SR HVAC Technician is experienced in all phases of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating and assists the leadership ( Manager, Director) with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, achievement of goals and objectives, customer satisfaction, and in meeting regulatory requirements. This individual serves as the technical resource for other team members through participation in quality control and improvement activities, staff development activities, and provides daily support to team members. The Sr HVAC Mechanic also helps leadership with facilitating and monitoring the work process of a designated team, including internal construction projects. On site from Glenrock Road/Norfolk, Virginia

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Trade/Technical School Graduate OR 3 years’ experience in lieu of Trade School Diploma/Degree.
  • 3 years of HVAC experience
  • Refrig Recovery: Cert Type I or II, JHVA Certification (Required)
  • Valid VA or NC Drivers' License (no points)

Nice To Haves

  • Trade School Graduate preferred
  • Healthcare preferred but not required
