We are currently seeking a proven Senior HVAC/Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Philadelphia, PA office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
  • PE license or PE track preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience and designing Mechanical/HVAC systems in high performance facilities.
  • Proficient in computer use and software including, but not limited to; AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, Word, Bluebeam.
  • This position will interact directly with clients, a business acumen mindset is necessary.
  • Background in engineering chilled water, hot water, steam and air handling plants as well as their distribution to serve facilities in the Science & Technology, Commercial, Healthcare and Academic markets.
  • Ability to use good judgement and make decisions with authority.

Responsibilities

  • Healthcare, Science and Technology focus
  • Engineer to perform all calculations, design concepts and supervision of all project level production.
  • Understands Revit to allow leadership and direction for the designs team.
  • Assuring that tasks are complete, accurate and in accordance with good engineering practices.
  • Develop concept designs, researches equipment selections, infrastructure utility designs for air and water systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with calculations, equipment selection, ductwork distribution system, water system designs, boiler plants, chilled water plants, and construction documents
  • Will attend field visits, meet with clients and vendors as necessary.
  • General coordination of specific design aspects into a project.
  • Will help develop and mentor junior and other team members.
  • Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects, mechanical, electrical etc.
