About The Position

The Senior HR Manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster a high-performing culture. This role involves leading initiatives in talent management, recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, and performance management, while ensuring compliance with employment laws. A strong background in HRIS is beneficial for enhancing HR functions and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a sales or operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in managing HRIS is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive experience in human resource positions.
  • Strong knowledge of California Labor Laws and compliance.
  • Bilingual language skills a plus.
  • HR certification also a plus.
  • Experience with field service and non-exempt employee populations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to assess HR needs and develop strategies that support the goals of selected client groups.
  • Drive a culture of feedback and integrity, ensuring that all HR processes are transparent and effective.
  • Coach leaders on performance management and talent development, helping them maximize their teams' potential.
  • Work closely with the recruiting team and senior leaders to attract and retain high-quality talent that aligns with long-term business objectives.
  • Design and implement an engaging onboarding process that effectively communicates company culture and fosters employee engagement from day one.
  • Lead key HR processes, including performance evaluations, compensation reviews, and bonus determinations, ensuring they meet departmental needs.
  • Create and manage tools to assess employee skills, performance, and development opportunities, supporting succession planning.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies and employee programs that foster engagement and a positive workplace culture.
  • Act as a resource for resolving employee concerns and challenges, creating a supportive environment for all team members.
  • Implement and oversee performance management programs that align employee goals with organizational objectives.
  • Utilize expertise in HRIS to enhance data management and reporting capabilities, streamlining HR processes.
  • Support the compliance team in completing necessary government forms and managing audits or complaints effectively.
  • Partner with the training team to deliver impactful training programs that enhance staff skills and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other MT units and external partners to support overall business objectives.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the HR function and the business.
