About The Position

The Senior HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting both strategic and operational HR functions, with a strong focus on recruiting operations, employee relations, HR policy management, and training initiatives. This role partners closely with hiring managers, employees, and HR leadership to ensure a seamless and compliant employee experience across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including recruiting and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws across the US and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with proven results in influencing and advising managers and leaders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-Starter; results oriented and motivated professional.
  • Ability to quickly build trust and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity – can navigate through a complex, multi-faceted organization with multiple stakeholders.
  • Computer proficiency with advanced skills in Excel, Power Point, and other Office suite applications. Experience with Dayforce and Zendesk is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to recruiting-related inquiries via Zendesk, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Track and maintain the status of all open requisitions, providing regular updates and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process: conduct intake sessions with hiring managers, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and manage background checks and reference verifications.
  • Submit new hire forms and documentation in Dayforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide counsel for supervisors on employee relations issues including discipline, policy interpretation, harassment and discrimination, HR compliance, background checks, FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, Wage and Hour Law, I-9 compliance as well as other matters.
  • Conduct background checks and reference verifications, ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards.
  • Proactively anticipate opportunities or issues and develop innovative solutions to address the opportunities to drive more effective, efficient, or productive behaviors within the business operations or the HR processes.
  • Assist with onboarding processes and new hire documentation as needed.
  • Own and maintain the HR handbook and company policies, including annual updates and ongoing revisions.
  • Monitor changes in employment law and regulations, and develop implementation plans to ensure organizational compliance.
  • Lead training initiatives for existing employees, including the development and delivery of experienced supervisory training programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs and design effective learning solutions.
