About The Position

Trillium is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Generalist to support and execute a broad range of human resources programs, initiatives, and strategies that drive employee and organizational performance. Upholding and promoting Trillium’s Core Values is central to this role. The Senior HR Generalist will serve as a key resource to managers and employees, providing both day-to-day HR support and more advanced guidance on employee relations, talent management, and HR operations. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who can operate both tactically and strategically while helping to strengthen and scale HR practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including strong Generalist experience
  • Experience handling complex employee relations issues independently

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and team effectiveness
  • Lead HR team members, helping prioritize workloads, foster collaboration, and maintain a cohesive team environment to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of HR services.
  • Lead employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes
  • Identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture
  • Support and influence managers in aligning team practices with Trillium’s core values
  • Partner with leadership to mitigate risk and address complex HR issues
  • Oversee and maintain PEO systems and employee records, ensuring data integrity and compliance
  • Evaluate and enhance HR processes, policies, and SOPs to improve efficiency and consistency across locations
  • Managed and oversee Leave of Absence (LOA) programs and Workers’ Compensation (WC) claims, ensuring full compliance with federal and state regulations while coordinating closely with third-party administrators
  • Partner with leadership to implement new programs and initiatives that support organizational growth
  • Analyze exit interview data and other HR metrics to provide actionable insights
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Lead or support internal audits with PEO and ensure HR practices align with legal and organizational standards
  • Champion Trillium’s culture by driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and promote a positive, inclusive workplace
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support organizational goals and continuous improvement efforts
  • Act as a role model for a high-performance, values-driven culture
  • Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including workforce planning, candidate selection, and hiring decisions
  • Provide guidance on job design, compensation alignment, and market competitiveness
  • Support and continuously improve onboarding programs to drive strong new hire integration and retention
  • Coach managers on effective interviewing and hiring practices
