Role Overview The Senior Human Resources Generalist supports the manufacturing team by performing a wide range of HR responsibilities, including talent development, employee relations, coaching, organizational design, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. This role operates independently with limited guidance and serves as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; minimum five years of HR experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos, or UKG preferred.
  • Occasionally required to stand and walk. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

  • SHRM‑CP or PHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead HR responsibilities with minimal guidance.
  • Consult with leaders on HR matters including talent acquisition, compensation, training, development, and performance management.
  • Deliver HR solutions that support business operations and organizational culture.
  • Interpret and assist with understanding company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Analyze HR metrics to support decision‑making and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to develop innovative HR solutions.
  • Maintain HRIS records and generate required reports.
  • Conduct onboarding and training for employees and leaders.
  • Support performance evaluation and rewards programs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and maintain job descriptions.
  • Support and communicate the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Exhibit strong analytical, problem‑solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of employment regulations.
