About The Position

The Senior HR Employee Relations Generalist will process unemployment claims, provide back up for compliance items, assist with employee relations tasks for training, assist with the PRN process (removal of duty and generate letters) and provide administrative assistance to the department. This position is under a hybrid work scheduled with 2 days per week in office and as needed by the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field or
  • Experience
  • 7 years Of progressively responsible HR experience with High School Diploma/GED or
  • 3 years Of professional experience in one or more areas of human resources with Bachelor's Degree
  • Will consider relevant education and experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Provides full range of support in functional areas of human resources including, but not limited to, Benefits, Employee Relations, Workers' Compensation and Leave Administration, Recruitment, Compensation, and Organizational Development and Training.
  • Counsels, advises, and works with staff, supervisors, and managers to identify and resolve personnel issues and improve workforce performance and effectiveness.
  • Coordinates the administration and confidential investigation of workers compensation.
  • Assists with benefit administration.
  • Provides guidance to staff and management regarding interpretation of policies and practices affecting various divisions in human resources.
  • Provides various reports upon request. Assists with statistical reports.
  • Assists in ensuring accuracy of information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
