The Senior Human Resources Consultant serves as a strategic business partner to leadership within the organization. This role is pivotal in aligning human resources practices with the overall strategic direction and long-term goals of the organization. The Consultant will engage with leaders to identify how HR can enhance business outcomes, ensuring that the organization remains focused on its mission to perfect the practice of medicine every day. The position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities within Human Resource Management, including employee relations, the recruitment life cycle, and employee development. Additionally, the Consultant will support the team manager and may assume management duties in the manager's absence. In this role, the Senior Human Resources Consultant will provide consultative advice to business leaders, addressing various issues that impact the organization and its employees. This includes monitoring workplace culture to promote diversity and inclusion, collaborating with management to create effective succession plans, and guiding change initiatives to mitigate resistance. The Consultant will also play a key role in start-ups and mergers & acquisitions, working closely with the HR Director to lead strategic initiatives such as employee engagement, performance reviews, and compliance with various regulations. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying training needs and developing training programs to meet those needs. The Consultant will also be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Building relationships with various HR functions and departments is essential to ensure efficient operations and support organizational goals. The Senior Human Resources Consultant will also participate in HR professional organizations and may hold leadership roles within those organizations, further enhancing their expertise and contribution to the field.
