About The Position

The City of Raleigh, Human Resources Department, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Senior HRBP) to join our team. As a member of the HR team, the Senior HRBP will manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and provide expertise in the areas of talent management, performance management, compensation, organizational development, employee training, labor law compliance, and employee relations to their designated business units/groups. The Senior HRBP is devoted to providing the full scope of employee relations services to multiple departments across the city as well as management consulting, organizational development, and other human resources services as needed. This position works in partnership with leaders, key stakeholders, and HR colleagues to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and solutions in line with the needs and priorities of the organization. To be successful in this role, the candidate will have significant experience in employee relations and human resources consultative and analytical work and is considered the subject matter expert with the highest level of knowledge, providing consultation to other human resources staff and management.
