About The Position

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Senior Human Resources Business Partner! Position Summary: The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) serves as a strategic consultant and thought partner to senior leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational priorities to drive performance, engagement, and workforce effectiveness. This role provides advanced partnership on complex workforce issues including workforce planning, culture, leadership development, and change enablement while translating enterprise initiatives and business objectives into actionable strategies within assigned departments or business lines. The Sr. HRBP leverages data-driven insights, organizational knowledge, business acumen and impactful consultative skills to influence outcomes, foster a high-performance and inclusive culture, and ensure HR programs are effectively integrated into day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources or relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Strong consultative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience developing and implementing workforce and talent strategic plans
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in large, complex healthcare organizations, including knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry-specific HR challenges (e.g., clinical workforce, unionized environments, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, offering insights and recommendations on HR strategies, organizational design, and industry trends.
  • Provide guidance on restructures and workforce alignment to optimize team effectiveness and support business priorities.
  • Drive the implementation of HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Guide leaders through the talent lifecycle—including workforce planning, hiring decisions, onboarding, compensation planning, development, succession planning, and engagement action planning—to build strong, future-ready teams
  • Leverage HR data, people analytics, and trends to diagnose issues, surface insights, and drive evidence-based decision-making related to turnover, engagement, performance, and staffing needs.
  • Anticipate people-related risks (e.g., retention, morale, capability gaps) and proactively offer solutions or interventions that support stability and operational excellence.
  • Partner with HR COEs (Recruiting, Compensation, ER/LR, Learning & Development, Colleague Experience, DEIB, etc.) to deliver coordinated and consistent HR solutions that meet the unique needs of the departments/service lines supported
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and provide regular insights to business leaders on key HR metrics.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to drive improvements, communicate, and implement new policies, processes, programs, and best practices.
  • Introduce, consult, and influence change processes, evaluating improvements to ensure they meet team, patient, member, and business needs.
  • Present, train, and/or facilitate HR and other organizational programs.
  • Participate in project work and perform other duties as assigned.
