We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Senior Manager, Human Resources and based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week. The role will support night shift and will be required to work 6PM – 2AM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, with experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders at multiple levels.
  • Experience supporting shift-based or 24/7 operations strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
  • Strong communication, judgment, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with manufacturing leaders to translate business goals into effective people strategies that support safety, quality, throughput, and cost objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Proactively identify engagement risks on evening shift and implement targeted solutions to improve retention, morale, and culture.
  • Support a fair, inclusive, and respectful workplace aligned with company values.
  • Drive performance management practices, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, and development planning.
  • Support organizational changes such as ramp-ups, new equipment deployment, schedule changes, and workforce transformations.
  • Use data and metrics (turnover, attendance, engagement, disciplinary trends) to inform decisions and recommend actions.
  • Collaborate with areas of HR and departments to deliver integrated solutions for manufacturing teams.
  • Serve as the primary on-site HR presence for evening-shift manufacturing operations (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
  • Build strong visibility and relationships with frontline employees and leaders during assigned shift.
  • Other tasks as needed.
