About The Position
The City of Stockton is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources professional to fill one (1) vacancy within our Budget/Payroll division. The incumbent will provide guidance to management and department officials on complex management and staff budgetary and payroll issues in accordance with City policies, directives, procedures, regulations, and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs). The ideal candidate will have experience in the preparation, processing, reporting, and maintenance of payroll; possess excellent customer service skills, have the ability to effectively build and maintain collaborative working relationships, and have strong analytical skills. Other duties will include but not be limited to handling complex payroll and timekeeping related issues, financial record keeping and reporting, and auditing and reconciliation.
