About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HCM Specialist, Workday to lead and support the optimization, configuration, and maintenance of our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Workday HCM modules, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and hands-on support to HR, IT, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this position must possess deep understanding of HR processes, regulations and policies combined with strong hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM modules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including configuration and support.
  • Experience with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence, and Time Tracking.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday configuration working with Report Writer, EIBs, Calculated Fields, Business Processes and Security.
  • Familiarity with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, or Prism Analytics is a plus.
  • Understanding of HR data structures, workflows, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday HCM Certification (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, etc.)
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, etc.).
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation to improve HR processes and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide advanced support for Workday HCM issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Serve as Tier 2/3 support for Workday-related inquiries and incidents.
  • Develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields.
  • Provide data insights and analytics to support HR strategy and decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and controls.
  • Train HR and business users on Workday functionality and best practices.
  • Create and maintain user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
