About The Position

We are seeking a talented software engineer to help us to both create and maintain next-generation technologies for Apple's mobile, desktop, wearable, and services platforms. We need a creative engineer with experience developing high-quality products on schedule, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for innovation. In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, as well as maintaining existing libraries.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years of experience in core areas of this role
• Track record of shipping high quality, critical path production networking features using C, C++, Swift, or Obj-C, strong analytical ability and debugging skills, and expertise in multithreaded development
• Expertise in Cocoa, Swift, Objective-C, iOS/macOS, or cross-platform development

Nice To Haves

• In-depth knowledge in one or more areas in networking, with desire and ability to master others, while balancing independent work and collaboration
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with software development using Apple developer or cross-platform APIs
• One or more of: Network library development, networking research, networking, or URI/URL standards
