We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to assist in the delivery of telecommunications projects and other key utilities infrastructure projects in South Australia. We're looking for someone who works collaboratively with field staff (and clients) and supports them to get the job done as safely as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further and gain industry relevant experience. This role is critical to the delivery a key Utilities infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Relevant Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Relevant experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to function unsupervised, working to tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely 2.0 Culture

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably ICAM lead investigator

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of Fulton Hogan health and safety systems and strategies
  • Providing health and safety specialist advice, technical and management support
  • Developing and implementing strategies to prevent and minimise workplace injuries
  • Supporting managers and supervision in activities to maintain a positive health and safety culture
  • Leading an experienced high-performing HSE team on a daily basis to provide coverage across the region
  • Establishing and implementing procedures for safety/risk management and emergencies
  • Conducting investigations into workplace incidents
