About The Position

As a key member of the People Operations HCM Technology team, the Sr. HRIS, Configuration, Integration & Security Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing the global strategy, design, deployment, and management of the HR Technology portfolio. This position operates with a high degree of independence and serves as the Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) with hands-on technical expertise. The specialist will help lead the execution of a technology roadmap that aligns with the strategic and operational needs of HR and the business. Beyond conventional HRIS responsibilities, this role integrates elements from diverse realms, such as Java Programming, XML, REST/API web services, application security, and system analysis, showcasing an analytical and operations-minded approach. The responsibilities include executing the strategy for all HRIS-related initiatives and priorities, leading and managing complex HRIS projects in alignment with the strategic goals of the People & Experience organization, and owning and leading regression test plans for various modules, including core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Time & Attendance, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Workforce/Headcount Planning, Integrations, and Security. The specialist will also research and provide recommendations on new technologies to enhance service center effectiveness and customer experience, design and maintain security matrices for Workday HCM, and write code to integrate and support REST/API Web services using Eclipse Platform - Java Programming language and XML programming language. Additionally, the role involves writing code for custom Workday reports using BIRT Studio, collaborating with leaders to understand business requirements and needs, implementing and supporting all vendor interfaces with Workday, and contributing to the creation of HCM training materials for high adoption rates. The specialist will support and maintain the existing HR Technology landscape, including BambooHR, Greenhouse, and Lattice, and collaborate on special projects as assigned while performing other HR-related duties as needed.
