About The Position

Our Human Resources team is actively recruiting for a Senior HR Partner responsible for supporting two strategic organizations in our Semiconductor Products Group (SPG) comprised of nearly 800 employees located around the globe. We are seeking someone who can strategically partner with business leaders to deliver a strategic talent strategy and enable our people to achieve success! Position Overview: This role is a strategic partner to the leadership of two organizations: Global Quality and Business Development and Growth (BDG). Collectively these organizations enable Applied's multi billion-dollar revenue by working across diverse functions and product groups. Must build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with leaders. Enable business results by helping build strong teams and talent mindset in the organization. This includes assessing, developing, coaching, and mentoring key leadership talent as part of implementing the enterprise talent management processes. Provide strategic vision, leadership, and operational excellence to help SPG achieve its organizational strategies, aligned to the needs of the client organization, while simultaneously driving global HR strategies, programs and priorities. Utilize specialized skills in talent management, organizational development, and organizational design to increase talent effectiveness in support of business objectives. Proactively partner and collaborate across the global HR Partner organization and HR COE community, share information, and provide thought leadership and a solution-oriented mindset to optimize the business value of the HR function.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have diverse and strategic HR experience and can partner effectively across the assigned business organization and the global HR community. They will have a combination of the following experience: Talent management; organization design; organization development; change management; rewards/compensation; employee engagement; and developing strong cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a global complex company is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 10 years or more of HR experience, including responsibilities as a strategic HR Partner in a complex enterprise.
  • Significant capacity for complexity, including the ability to contribute to multi-year strategies and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated experience working dynamically with a strong capability to adapt to changes in the internal or external environment.
  • Demonstrate advanced capabilities with MS Excel and data warehouse tools to analyze complex data sets including the use of pivots, charts and graphs, and formulas.
  • Use data to diagnose organizational health, proactively identify potential talent-related issues, support decision making ultimately driving to effective solutions.
  • Presents information clearly and concisely in writing and orally.

  • MBA/MA/MS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will proactively shape client talent strategies and priorities to align with organizational and enterprise objectives and HR priorities.
  • Actively partner, coach & develop and influence leadership.
  • Conduct organizational & talent assessments; develop talent strategy and build workforce capability across existing and emerging key areas.
  • Design and implement change management, communication, and employee engagement strategies within the BU/Function.
  • Serve as a champion of the corporate culture including developing strategies to achieve goals to increase diversity and inclusion.
  • Work within the HR service delivery model, leveraging HR shared services and technology for manager and employee support.
  • Collaborate with HR COEs to execute client strategies and HR annual programs and processes.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional or cross-geography working teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
