About The Position

Full time, 12-month fixed term opportunity (parental leave cover) for a Senior HR Partnering professional to provide strategic HR expertise and advice in support of your client’s business objectives and the University’s strategy Collaborate with the other HR Centres of Expertise to deliver an integrated service offering to the Faculty of Medicine and Health. Competitive remuneration plus 17% superannuation contribution About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Partner to support key leaders in the Faculty of Medicine and Health including Research Centres and Institutes to deliver key strategic initiatives aligned to HR objectives and the University of Sydney 2032 Strategy. Instilling your solutions-focused approach, you will deploy strategic, contemporary HR expertise enabling the delivery of world-class educational and research outcomes.

Requirements

  • extensive experience as a senior HR professional within a complex and multifaceted organisation (ideally within a tertiary environment in a Centre of Expertise model)
  • elevated ability to build and manage trusted client relationships with tact and professionalism at the senior level and influence positive outcomes
  • significant change management and project delivery experience across various HR capabilities and processes
  • a high degree of capability working with and interpreting complex Industrial instruments
  • exceptional partnering skills as you will be liaising with the wider HR Partnering team and other HR functions to ensure a collaborative and consistent approach to service delivery

Nice To Haves

  • experience providing senior HR support within medical, health or allied health industries is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • take a lead role in collaborating with peers across the other HR Centres of Expertise, in designing and presenting robust and client-focused solutions
  • develop tailored strategic and operational solutions for executive leaders across your client group spanning areas of talent and succession management, workforce planning, organisational design, reward and recognition and workplace culture
  • act as the change lead for your client base, supporting with workforce plans and ensuring the most appropriate organisational design is in place to deliver on strategy
  • support the Senior Manager and Associate Director in leading initiatives to build capability within the wider HR team which includes effective delegation, coaching and implementation of industry best practice frameworks, technology and processes.
