We’re looking for a scrappy, strategic, and execution-driven Senior HR Program & Operations Manager to build and optimize the backbone of our People Operations. Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll own critical HR programs and operational excellence across the employee lifecycle. This high-impact role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, solves complex problems, and wants to shape HR at a scaling organization.

  • Lead HR Service Delivery: Drive operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and offboarding.
  • Optimize Systems & Workflows: Implement and refine processes that ensure consistent, high-quality HR support across the enterprise.
  • Act as a Strategic Partner: Build strong connections across AFS and Axonius to anticipate needs, solve challenges, and deliver growth-focused solutions.
  • Design Scalable Processes: Create repeatable HR programs leveraging tools, automation, and clear operating mechanisms for rapid growth and a consistent employee experience.
  • Automate & Streamline: Simplify workflows, enhance self-service, and reduce complexity—leveraging AI where applicable.
  • Lead HR Technology Transformation: Own end-to-end implementation of ADP (data migration, configuration, testing, launch, adoption) with integration across finance, IT, legal, and security; manage ATS data migration.
  • Build and Leverage People Analytics: Define key metrics, implement reporting tools, and develop dashboards to uncover workforce trends and inform talent strategies.
  • Own Compliance & Risk: Ensure audit readiness and adherence to federal/state regulations, including OFCCP requirements. Develop risk mitigation strategies across HR services.
  • Shape the Future of HR: Take ownership of special projects in areas like leadership development, succession planning, total rewards, performance management, employee engagement, DEI initiatives, workforce planning, and learning & development—driving programs that strengthen our talent pipeline and organizational capability.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience with strong HR operations and program management foundation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas (excluding Talent Acquisition): HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, or Learning & Development.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and/or managing one or more of the following systems: HRIS, ATS and Payroll platforms (Greenhouse, ADP, Justworks, Lattice preferred).
  • Experience managing HR compliance for government contractors, ensuring conformity with legal, audit, and OFCCP obligations.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with strong organizational and change management skills.
  • Strong capability in building HR metrics and dashboards; experience translating data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage data migration, configuration, testing, and adoption of HR systems.
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving initiatives with limited resources.
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
