As an HR Business Partner, you'll work side by side with leaders to connect people strategies to business goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent degree or work experience.
  • 5 or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist in a multi-state environment.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR policies.
  • Solid knowledge of workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, and employee relations best practices.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence managers through sound judgment and HR expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • 7 or more years of experience working in Human Resources in a large enterprise level environment.
  • Certification as a Professional of Human Resources (PHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or Certified Performance Technologist (CPT).
  • Exposure to Unions/Bargaining Units.

Responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships with leaders to understand goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Successfully influencing without authority.
  • Translating business objectives into people strategies (talent strategy, engagement, retention, capability building, etc.).
  • Leading leaders and teams through change with clarity, consistency, and empathy.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to create job descriptions that clearly define role success.
  • Advising managers on performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
  • Coaching on leadership behaviors and effectiveness, team performance, and culture.
