As our Senior HR Business Partner for the USA, you’ll play a key role in shaping an inclusive, high-performing, and purpose-driven culture. This is a hands-on role where you’ll partner closely with Country leaders and team members to bring our people strategy to life—supporting growth, engagement, and a thriving workplace. You’ll be a trusted advisor, a culture champion, and a proactive problem solver who helps our teams do their best work while feeling valued, supported, and inspired.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including business partnership.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and scale people programs that support engagement, development, and culture.
  • Deep understanding of US employment law and HR best practices.
  • Organized, action-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • A track record of building trust and influencing senior leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.

  • Experience in a creative or professional services environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own execution of HR operations including onboarding, changes, leaves, payroll coordination, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with US employment laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and perform regular audits.
  • Lead specific policy development and continuous process improvement.
  • Prepare employment documentation and compliance forms.
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation related to employee relations activities, investigations and outcomes.
  • Support benefits enrollment, employee inquiries, and leave management (FMLA, ADA, etc.), working closely with third-party providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the point of contact for US employees and leaders.
  • Be a go-to resource for employee relations, ensuring fairness, empathy, and consistency.
  • Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, and belonging across all US offices.
  • Lead proactive initiatives to strengthen engagement and mitigate workplace challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Lantern US leadership team to align people strategies with business goals.
  • Provide real-time support and coaching to People Leaders to help them grow as inclusive, effective people managers. Lead and support training initiatives for manager development.
  • Guide and facilitate calibration sessions, helping leaders assess team health and drive talent decisions with equity and impact in mind.
  • Support workforce planning and partner with Talent Acquisition.
  • Lead a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Champion early career programs and diversity hiring initiatives that reflect our values.
  • Advise People Leaders on performance reviews, development planning, promotions, underperformance cases, and terminations—ensuring consistency and alignment with Lantern’s values.
  • Coach managers to lead with empathy, clarity, and accountability.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development to build a strong future pipeline.
  • Support engagement initiatives, recognition efforts, and employee survey follow-ups.
  • Partner with the CPO and Finance to ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices.
  • Partner with leaders and compensation teams to manage compensation processes, providing advisory on pay decisions and helping uphold internal equity.
  • Promote meaningful recognition programs that celebrate contributions and reinforce our values.
  • Work closely with cross-functional HR and Shared Services teams to deliver employee seamless support.
  • Represent Lantern US in global HR initiatives and program design.
  • Support change efforts with clear communication plans, leader messaging, and coordination to drive alignment and clarity across teams.
