About The Position

Banking is being reimagined—and customers expect every interaction to be easy, personal, and instant. We are building a universal banking assistant that millions of U.S. consumers can use to transact across all financial institutions and, over time, autonomously drive their financial goals. Powered by our proprietary BankGPT platform, this assistant is positioned to displace age-old legacy systems within financial institutions and own the end-to-end CX stack, unlocking a $200B opportunity and potentially replacing multiple publicly traded companies. Ultimately, our mission is to drive financial well-being for millions of consumers. With over two-thirds of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, 50% holding less than $500 in savings, and only 17% financially literate, we aim to put financial well-being on autopilot to help solve this problem. As we continue building and scaling in the U.S., we are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner who has experienced growth from the ground up, someone who has helped shape people's practices in early-stage environments and seen them evolve through scale. This is a high-trust, high-impact individual contributor role. You will serve as the primary People partner for U.S. business leaders, bringing both strategic judgment and operational depth. You will navigate complexity with maturity, uphold strong governance standards, and ensure our people's practices evolve thoughtfully alongside the business. You will influence senior stakeholders. You will handle sensitive matters independently. You will execute with clarity and discipline.

Requirements

  • 7 - 12 years of progressive HR experience
  • Have been part of an organization that scaled meaningfully (e.g., early-stage through multi-hundred employees)
  • Deep familiarity with U.S. multi-state employment law
  • Strong hands-on experience managing complex employee relations independently
  • Comfortable operating in environments where clarity must be created, not assumed
  • Confident advising senior leaders and executives
  • Calm under pressure, structured in thinking, disciplined in execution
  • Operate with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • You understand how standards evolve as companies grow.
  • You value simplicity, precision, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with business leaders on org design, team structure, and workforce strategy
  • Manage employee relations matters end-to-end across multiple states
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend sound, defensible actions
  • Provide clear guidance in high-stakes and sensitive situations
  • Strengthen performance and talent processes as the organization grows
  • Ensure onboarding and transitions are disciplined and aligned with business needs
  • Build and refine repeatable systems that support scale without unnecessary complexity
  • Maintain rigorous compliance with U.S. federal and state employment regulations

Benefits

  • Meaningful ownership within a critical U.S. remit
  • Direct partnership with senior leadership
  • Opportunity to shape how people systems evolve during a significant growth phase
  • Work at the intersection of operational discipline and rapid innovation
