Reporting to the Chief HR Officer for the UNC System Office, the Team Lead will do the following in collaboration with internal stakeholders: Be the go-to resource: Provide expert guidance to managers and employees, addressing workplace concerns and fostering open, effective communication. Lead and mentor: Inspire and develop a team of two HR Business Partners, equipping them to navigate complex employee and team matters with confidence and care. Promote workplace harmony: Manage performance and employee relations issues, resolving conflicts and fostering a culture of respect, belonging, and growth. Ensure compliance: Uphold federal and state employment laws and regulations, embedding best practices into daily HR operations. Support employee success: Develop and implement HR programs that prioritize employee well-being and align with organizational goals. Strengthen relationships: Build trusted partnerships across the organization to understand employee needs and deliver tailored HR solutions. Continuously improve: Analyze workplace trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and innovate HR processes to enhance the employee experience.
