About The Position
The work involves supervising and performing security work for the Department of Security and Safety Management at the Erie County Medical Center Corporation. This is a paraprofessional security position responsible for supervising activities to identify and prevent crimes and other disorders and enforcement of safety regulations. The incumbent is designated as a Peace Officer under Article 2.10 of the New York State Criminal Procedure Law. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Security and Safety Management. Supervision is exercised over a number of lower ranking security personnel. Does related work as required.
