About The Position

5+ years of experience in the medical technology industry or a related area. Knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems including health policy trends, public and private payment systems (inpatient/outpatient/physician/ASC) and associated documentation/coding requirements. Familiarity with Medicare claims data sets, including MedPAR, OPPS, and 100% SAFs. Mastery of platform tools and software applications, separately and in combination, such as IQVIA, Medicare data files, XLSX, Tableau, PowerBI, with ability to envision, create, translate, and routinely deliver integrated data visualization tools for specific inquiries, KPIs, trends, dashboards, presentations, calculators, etc. for a variety of users. Intermediate or advanced SQL programming and data analysis. Ability to work well in a team environment. Manage multiple internal client-related priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to advance initiatives independently and in a fast-paced matrix environment with minimal supervision. Can-do attitude with attention to detail, and oriented to precision, accuracy, continuous learning and developing skills. Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings. Bachelor's or master's degree in an analytical discipline such as statistics, economics, finance, mathematics, or a similar discipline. Technical expertise regarding relational databases, data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques, and programming languages (SQL, Python, or R). Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, AWS, SPSS, SAS etc.). Snowflake experience. Innovative, self-driven, high performer, key contributor with proven track record. Responsiveness and sense of urgency when pursuing goals and completing tasks. Experience working as part of both functional and cross-functional, matrixed teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
