About The Position

Our Senior Healthcare Consultant helps healthcare organizations improve how they operate and deliver care. In this role, you’ll support healthcare clients primarily through our labor productivity benchmarking practice, which leads to operational and clinical efficiency initiatives. You will also be collaborating closely with project teams and contributing data-driven insights that lead to practical, actionable recommendations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, healthcare, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a health system or hospital setting preferred
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout the region, including approximately 50% overnight travel
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas) with strong interest and aptitude in data analysis and data modeling
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand client environment
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, with the exception of qualified candidates who are bilingual in either Japanese and English or Chinese and English

Responsibilities

  • Leverage an accounting background to support labor productivity benchmarking analyses, including labor expense review, variance analysis, and interpretation of staffing productivity metrics
  • Assist in delivering strategic solutions for healthcare clients with a focus on operational and clinical efficiency
  • Develop and maintain Excel and Power BI based benchmarking models and tools (e.g., staffing grids, productivity dashboards, variance templates) to support repeatable client deliverables
  • Analyze labor expense and staffing data (payroll, hours, volumes, and budget) to identify drivers of productivity performance and improvement opportunities
  • Validate and reconcile client-provided data for benchmarking (e.g., mapping accounts, normalizing pay codes, ensuring consistent definitions) to ensure accurate and comparable results
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to execute engagement objectives, develop work plans, coordinate across workstreams, and perform detailed analyses
  • Support the development of recommendations by synthesizing quantitative and qualitative findings
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while participating in networking and business development activities
  • Collaborate with other services such as healthcare finance, reimbursement and revenue cycle team members to support insights, reporting, and decision-making
