We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Health Promotion Specialist with an entrepreneurial approach and a strong commitment to developing and implementing comprehensive well-being programs for a prominent corporate client in New York City, NY. This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days on-site and two days remote each week. On-site responsibilities will be distributed across the client's various offices in Upper Manhattan. Plus One, part of the Optum Workplace Well-being portfolio of services, provides fitness and well-being services to clients across a broad range of industries, driving employee engagement in health and wellness programs. Our services include fitness, nutrition, ergonomics, wellness coaching and health promotion.   • Assess employees' health needs using audit tools and client and employee feedback in order to develop and deploy appropriate well-being solutions and programming.
  • Coordinate, develop and deliver a range of programs that educate members on how to improve their health and well-being.
  • Partner with the client, vendors and community resources to execute workplace well-being strategies that will improve employees' health and mental resilience.
  • Coordinate health and well-being marketing and communications relating to the workplace's on-site and virtual spaces in order to promote healthy behavior and health care engagement.
  • Report on engagement, referrals, workplace well-being initiatives and results in order to demonstrate improvement in baseline metrics.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health promotion, health education, public health).
  • Three or more years of experience in health promotion, health management, human resources and organizational behavior or a related field.
  • The ability to multi-task, and to execute time-management, problem-solving, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong technical and regulatory knowledge.
  • The ability to network, engage and interact with clients and members.
  • Competence with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Health plan experience.
  • Master's degree in health promotion management, public health or a related field.
  • Related health promotion or public health certification, such as National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), WellCert Certified Wellness Practitioner or CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist).
  • Five years of industry experience.
