About The Position

Senior Hardware/Software Integration Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Senior Hardware/Software Integration Manager in support of hardware/software technical integration activities for the E-7 USAF team in Tukwila, WA. Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities. Position Responsibilities: Lead HW/SW Technical Integration Strategy and Planning by defining integration approach, scope, milestones, resource needs, and success criteria for system integrated product. Plan and execute mission systems integration labs and aircraft test campaigns by coordinating across Hardware and Software teams, managing HWIL Integration and Test activities, driving end to end functional tests, and preparation for/support of the Mission Systems integration for the platform Ground & Flight Test campaign. Manage technical authority for mission systems integration across cross-functional teams driving technical coordination. Coordinate across technical integration threads to drive all-inclusive approach to integration, test and verification activities. Quantify time/effort interdependencies to prioritize integration across test assets. Run Test Readiness Reviews and establish guidelines for test preparation and readiness. Execute root cause analysis and anomaly resolution by leading investigations for integration failures, define corrective/preventative actions, and verify fixes across domains. Inform program leadership via integrated status reports to communicate success, blockers, and help needed. Team with Senior leaders on the Mission System Hardware, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and other teams. Partner with the MS Labs and Aircraft Operations Lead to coordinate/communicate technical requirements, resource access and functional support needs across execution of labs, security, facilities, IT and other functions. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years of experience working in System Integration.
  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
