The Senior Hardware/Platform Engineer at iXsystems plays a crucial role in leading research and development efforts for the TrueNAS hardware platform. This position involves evaluating hardware platforms, researching storage hardware trends, and designing and qualifying new components. The engineer will also engage in prototyping, failure analysis, and support for existing TrueNAS platforms, collaborating closely with product management, supply chain, and software engineering teams throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
