About The Position

As an Electrical Engineer at ChargePoint, you will be responsible for the electrical circuit design and development of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) that incorporate various technologies such as processors, memory networking interfaces, analog sensors, motor control, board-level power, and charging electronics. Your role will involve delivering designs that are optimized for cost, reliability, and feature richness. You will drive board-level architectures and distill block diagrams into sub-components, circuits, and board designs. Additionally, you will develop designs from the lowest level (discreet) circuit designs to full-scale system design, overseeing these systems through to volume manufacturing and field deployment.

Requirements

• Strong electrical/electronic design skills and understanding of board-level engineering tradeoffs.
• Experience in the design and implementation of embedded processors, high-speed interfaces, memory, power, analog sensing, and control circuits.
• Proficiency with board CAD, Schematic, Simulation, and PCB Layout tools.
• Proven ability to test and validate electrical design and document passing results and margin to limits.
• Inventive, curious, and creative with a focus on cost, quality, and building market-leading products.
• Ability to drive hardware designs across software, mechanical, power, and thermal boundaries.
