About The Position

The Senior GTM Specialist for Microsoft Workloads at AWS is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy and execution for Enterprise Applications, specifically focusing on the migration and modernization of Microsoft Windows and SQL Server technologies. This role involves collaborating with various teams to drive customer adoption, develop scalable programs, and identify new opportunities, all while ensuring alignment with customer needs and market signals. The position requires a strong background in Microsoft workloads and a customer-centric approach to building and executing strategic initiatives that contribute to AWS's growth in the enterprise sector.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 5+ years of experience migrating Microsoft workloads to the cloud

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with experience communicating to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives.
  • Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.
  • Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing and executing go-to-market growth initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for Enterprise Apps, Migration & Modernization of Microsoft Windows and SQL Server technologies in North America.
  • Leverage expertise in Microsoft Windows and SQL Server technologies to understand customer problems and enable account-aligned teams to solve them.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to expand markets/accounts and develop scalable programs to drive adoption.
  • Develop and execute goals to drive long-term growth while meeting/exceeding revenue and non-revenue driven KPIs.
  • Bring customer data and market signals back to Worldwide teams to prioritize building the right features and services.
  • Deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for the respective tech domain and geography.
  • Drive geographical scale through external partners and execute customer acquisition programs and strategies.
