Requirements

  • Master's degree, or higher, from an accredited institution, plus appropriate continuing education, in Hydrogeology or Groundwater Engineering.
  • Professional Geologist and Certified Hydrogeologist registration.
  • Senior-level experience in groundwater and hydrogeology work.
  • Solid understanding of Hydrogeology and its applications in pertinent states.
  • Solid understanding of the regulatory requirements in pertinent states.
  • Ability to present technical information, both written and verbally, in a concise and professional manner.
  • Solid understanding of business development plans to deliver groundwater and hydrogeology services.
  • Proven track record of delivering on sales targets would be an asset.
  • Supervisory, project management, and client management experience required.
  • Demonstrated capability to train, mentor and develop junior and intermediate staff.
  • Demonstrable commitment to HSE management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior technical and consulting support for a variety of hydrogeology projects including groundwater characterization, monitoring, data analysis and visualization, contaminants and risk management, groundwater resource assessment and sustainability, and permitting.
  • Plan and guide hydrogeologic investigations to solve complex problems.
  • Design and coordinate studies on conceptual models; analyze and interpret the resulting data.
  • Evaluate project progress and identify and implement change when necessary.
  • Prepare and/or provide senior review of technical correspondence, project scope and cost proposals, technical reports, memoranda, work plans, and project specifications.
  • Be client-facing. Present technical information internally and externally to clients in writing and verbally in a confident, concise, and professional manner.
  • Support team business development activities including client interaction and customer relationship management, contribute to business development plans, identify markets/potential clients and related sales targets and assist the team in preparing responses to Requests for Proposals and Request for Qualifications.
  • Train, mentor and develop graduate, junior and intermediate staff.
