About The Position

The Acushnet Company is seeking a Senior Graphic & Production Artist responsible for the development of logos, artwork, and concepts for the Scotty Cameron brand, which includes putters, soft goods, and packaging. This role emphasizes the importance of design support, collaboration with various stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of quality and innovation in product design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in graphic design is required.
  • Industry knowledge of Action Sports is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel is mandatory; InDesign is a plus.
  • Must be able to sit for extended lengths of time.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Cameron designs, styles, typography/fonts, and spec guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide design support including development of logos, apparel graphics, accessories, package design, corporate collateral, and various web needs including digital product photography.
  • Work with the Director of Art and the Senior Vice President on artwork, graphics, and photography for the product line.
  • Collaborate with vendors from concept to production.
  • Source creative and innovative ideas to keep the product line fresh.
  • Produce product within tight time constraints.
  • Create complete product tech packs.
  • Generate graphics using Illustrator, Photoshop, and current digital art programs.
  • Provide accurate editing and digital attention to detail for all products.
  • Generate working Illustrator files for multiple types of production (embroidery, screen printing, and engraving).
  • Create necessary documentation and images to facilitate communication and support for putter development, testing, suppliers, manufacturing, sales, and marketing.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of putter forms, shapes, sculpting, features, artwork, engraving, aesthetics, inserts, cosmetics, and product milling capabilities and techniques.
  • Lead new art associates through a detailed onboarding experience.
  • Communicate company brand standards, usage of brand marks, and acceptable job specifications to newly hired employees.
  • Plan, conduct, and create conceptual product design ideas for scheduled product opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Director of Putter R&D to develop, create, finalize, and spec all In-Line Production, Seasonal Limited, and Circle T art graphics for new putters.
  • Conduct and participate in product development meetings, design critiques, vendor meetings, first article inspections, and cosmetic/design approval processes as necessary.
  • Work closely with brand protection to identify counterfeit Cameron products.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $81,000 - $101,000 / Annual; plus bonus eligible.
